RangeValidator.AddAttributesToRender Method

This method supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Adds the HTML attributes and styles for the control that need to be rendered to the specified HtmlTextWriter object.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

protected:
virtual void AddAttributesToRender (
	HtmlTextWriter^ writer
) override
protected void AddAttributesToRender (
	HtmlTextWriter writer
)
protected override function AddAttributesToRender (
	writer : HtmlTextWriter
)
Not applicable.

writer

An HtmlTextWriter that represents the output stream to render HTML content on the client.

The following code example demonstrates how to override the AddAttributesToRender method in a custom server control so that the RangeValidator text always displays as bold.

Security noteSecurity Note:

This example has a text box that accepts user input, which is a potential security threat. By default, ASP.NET Web pages validate that user input does not include script or HTML elements. For more information, see Script Exploits Overview (Visual Studio).
