QueryStringParameter.Evaluate Method

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Updates and returns the value of the QueryStringParameter object.

Parameters

context

The current HttpContext of the request.

control

A Control that is associated with the Web Form where the QueryStringParameter is used.

Return Value

An object that represents the updated and current value of the parameter. If the context or the request in null (Nothing in Visual Basic), the Evaluate method returns null.

The QueryStringParameter attempts to bind to the query string field every time the Evaluate method is called.

The context parameter is used by the Evaluate method to retrieve the value of the specified query string field from the query string. The control parameter is ignored.
