PasswordRecovery.UserNameLabelText Property

Gets or sets the text of the label for the User Name text box.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

public virtual string UserNameLabelText { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.String
The label for the User Name text box. The default is "User Name:".

The UserNameLabelText property contains the label text for the UserName text box.

The style settings in the LabelStyle property define the appearance of the UserNameLabelText property.

When you assign a template to the UserNameTemplate property, the UserNameLabelText property has no effect.

The default text for the property is localized based on the server's locale setting.

The value of this property, when set, can be saved automatically to a resource file by using a designer tool. For more information, see LocalizableAttribute and ASP.NET Globalization and Localization.

The following code example sets the UserNameLabelText property to "Your user name:".
