ObjectDataSourceView.OnObjectDisposing Method
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
protected void OnObjectDisposing ( ObjectDataSourceDisposingEventArgs e )
protected function OnObjectDisposing ( e : ObjectDataSourceDisposingEventArgs )
Parameters
- e
An ObjectDataSourceDisposingEventArgs that contains the event data.
The OnObjectDisposing is called when the instance of an object that was created to perform a data operation is discarded. The Dispose method is called, only if the type that is identified by the TypeName property implements the IDisposable interface.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Consuming Events.
The OnObjectDisposing method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors When overriding the OnObjectDisposing method in a derived class, be sure to call the OnObjectDisposing method for the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.Windows 98, Windows 2000 SP4, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP SP2, Windows XP Starter Edition
