ObjectDataSourceView.OnObjectCreating Method
.NET Framework 3.0
Raises the ObjectCreating event before the ObjectDataSourceView object creates an instance of a business object to perform a data operation.
Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
protected void OnObjectCreating ( ObjectDataSourceEventArgs e )
protected function OnObjectCreating ( e : ObjectDataSourceEventArgs )
Not applicable.
Parameters
- e
An ObjectDataSourceEventArgs that contains the event data.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Consuming Events.
The OnObjectCreating method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors: When overriding the OnObjectCreating method in a derived class, be sure to call the OnObjectCreating method for the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.Community Additions
