MonthChangedEventHandler Delegate

Represents the method that handles the VisibleMonthChanged event of a Calendar control.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

public delegate void MonthChangedEventHandler(
	Object^ sender,
	MonthChangedEventArgs^ e
)

Parameters

sender
Type: System::Object
The source of the event.
e
Type: System.Web.UI.WebControls::MonthChangedEventArgs
A MonthChangedEventArgs that contains the event data.

The VisibleMonthChanged event is raised when the user clicks the navigation controls for the Calendar control to display the next or previous month.

When you create a MonthChangedEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event handler delegates, see Events and Delegates.

The following code example demonstrates how to specify and code a handler for the VisibleMonthChanged event that displays in a Label control whether the Calendar control has moved forward or backward one month.
