Menu.OnMenuItemClick Method
.NET Framework 3.0
Raises the MenuItemClick event.
Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
The OnMenuItemClick method is called by the Menu control to raise the MenuItemClick event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the Menu class.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Events and Delegates.
The OnMenuItemClick method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnMenuItemClick in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnMenuItemClick method so that registered delegates receive the event.Community Additions
