Menu.OnDataBinding Method
.NET Framework 3.0
Raises the DataBinding event.
Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
The DataBinding event is raised when data is bound to the Menu control. This method notifies the control to perform any data-binding logic that is associated with it.
The OnDataBinding method allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
This method is generally used by control developers when extending the Menu class.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Events and Delegates.
Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnDataBinding in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnDataBinding method so that registered delegates receive the event.Community Additions
