LoginStatus.LogoutText Property

Gets or sets the text used for the logout link.

Namespace:   System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

public virtual string LogoutText { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.String

A string displayed as the logout link. The default is "Logout".

The LogoutText property is displayed when the LogoutImageUrl property is empty.

When the LogoutImageUrl property contains a link, the LogoutText property is used as the alternative text for the image in browsers that do not support images.

The value of this property, when set, can be saved automatically to a resource file by using a designer tool. For more information, see LocalizableAttribute and ASP.NET Globalization and Localization.

The following code example shows how to set the LogoutText property.
