Login.OnLoginError Method
.NET Framework 3.0
Raises the LoginError event when a login attempt fails.
Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
The OnLoginError method raises the LoginError event. Use the LoginError event to provide additional processing, such as error logging, when a user's login attempt fails.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
The OnLoginError method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnLoginError in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnLoginError method so that registered delegates receive the event.Community Additions
