Login.OnBubbleEvent Method (Object, EventArgs)
.NET Framework (current version)
Determines whether to pass an event up the page's user interface (UI) server control hierarchy.
Assembly: System.Web (in System.Web.dll)
Protected Overrides Function OnBubbleEvent ( source As Object, e As EventArgs ) As Boolean
Parameters
- source
-
Type:
System.Object
The source of the event.
- e
-
Type:
System.EventArgs
An EventArgs containing the data for the event.
Return Value
Type: System.Booleantrue if the event has been canceled; otherwise, false. The default is false.
The OnBubbleEvent method implements the Control.OnBubbleEvent method to pass events from child controls to the page hierarchy.
If the current event is posted by the Login control Login button, the Login control attempts to log in to the Web site. Otherwise, the event is passed up the page control hierarchy.
Notes to Inheritors:
When overriding OnBubbleEvent in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnBubbleEvent method so that registered delegates receive the event.
