ListView::OnPagePropertiesChanging Method
Raises the PagePropertiesChanging event.
Assembly: System.Web.Extensions (in System.Web.Extensions.dll)
protected: virtual void OnPagePropertiesChanging( PagePropertiesChangingEventArgs^ e )
Parameters
- e
- Type: System.Web.UI.WebControls::PagePropertiesChangingEventArgs
The event data.
The PagePropertiesChanging event is raised when the page properties change, but before the ListView control sets the new values by using the SetPageProperties method. This enables you to perform a custom routine whenever this event occurs, such as clearing the SelectedIndex or EditIndex properties.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
The OnPagePropertiesChanging method also enables derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors:When you override OnPagePropertiesChanging in a derived class, call the base class’s OnPagePropertiesChanging method so that registered delegates receive the event.
