ListView.OnItemInserted Method (ListViewInsertedEventArgs)
Raises the ItemInserted event.
Assembly: System.Web.Extensions (in System.Web.Extensions.dll)
The ItemInserted event is raised when an item's Insert button is clicked or the InsertNewItem method is called, after the ListView control inserts the item. (An Insert button is a button control whose CommandName property is set to "Insert".) This enables you to perform a custom routine whenever this event occurs, such as retrieving auto-generated values from the database for the inserted item.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see NIB: Raising an Event.
Themethod also enables derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors:
When you overridein a derived class, call the base class's method so that registered delegates receive the event.
