ListItemCollection::Item Property

Gets a ListItem at the specified index in the collection.

Parameters

index
Type: System::Int32

The zero-based index of the ListItem to retrieve from the collection.

Property Value

Type: System.Web.UI.WebControls::ListItem
The ListItem object at the specified index in the collection.

Use this indexer to get a ListItem from the ListItemCollection at the specified index, using array notation.

The following code example demonstrates how to select multiple items from a ListBox control and add the selected items to a DataGrid control. The example uses a foreach loop to iterate through the ListItem objects in the ListItemCollection collection of the ListBox control.
