ListControl.TextChanged Event

Occurs when the Text and SelectedValue properties change.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

public:
virtual event EventHandler^ TextChanged {
	void add (EventHandler^ value) sealed;
	void remove (EventHandler^ value) sealed;
}
/** @event */
public final void add_TextChanged (EventHandler value)

/** @event */
public final void remove_TextChanged (EventHandler value)

In JScript, you can handle the events defined by a class, but you cannot define your own.
Not applicable.

The TextChanged event is raised when the Text and SelectedValue properties change.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Consuming Events.

The OnTextChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors: When overriding the OnTextChanged method in a derived class, be sure to call the OnTextChanged method for the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
