GridView.OnRowUpdated Method
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
The RowUpdated event is raised when a row's Update button is clicked, but after the GridView control updates the row. This allows you to provide an event-handling method that performs a custom routine, such as checking the results of the update operation, whenever this event occurs.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
The OnRowUpdated method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors When overriding OnRowUpdated in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnRowUpdated method so that registered delegates receive the event.Windows 98, Windows 2000 SP4, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP SP2, Windows XP Starter Edition
