| HttpException | There is no handler for the RowDeleting event. |
The RowDeleting event is raised when a row's Delete button is clicked, but before the GridView control deletes the row. This enables you to provide an event-handling method that performs a custom routine, such as canceling the delete operation, whenever this event occurs.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see NIB: Raising an Event.
The OnRowDeleting method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors:
When overriding OnRowDeleting in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnRowDeleting method so that registered delegates receive the event.
