GridView.OnRowCreated Method
.NET Framework 3.0
Raises the RowCreated event.
Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
Before the GridView control can be rendered, a GridViewRow object must be created for each row in the control. The RowCreated event is raised when each row in the GridView control is created. This allows you to provide an event-handling method that performs a custom routine, such as adding custom content to a row, whenever this event occurs.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
The OnRowCreated method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnRowCreated in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnRowCreated method so that registered delegates receive the event.Community Additions
