FormView.OnItemUpdated Method
.NET Framework 3.0
Raises the ItemUpdated event.
Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
protected void OnItemUpdated ( FormViewUpdatedEventArgs e )
protected function OnItemUpdated ( e : FormViewUpdatedEventArgs )
Not applicable.
Parameters
- e
A FormViewUpdatedEventArgs that contains the event data.
The OnItemUpdated method is called by the FormView control to raise the ItemUpdated event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the FormView class.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
The OnItemUpdated method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnItemUpdated in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnItemUpdated method so that registered delegates receive the event.Community Additions
