FormView.OnItemInserted Method
.NET Framework 3.0
Raises the ItemInserted event.
Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
protected void OnItemInserted ( FormViewInsertedEventArgs e )
protected function OnItemInserted ( e : FormViewInsertedEventArgs )
Not applicable.
Parameters
- e
A FormViewInsertedEventArgs that contains the event data.
The OnItemInserted method is called by the FormView control to raise the ItemInserted event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the FormView class.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
The OnItemInserted method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnItemInserted in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnItemInserted method so that registered delegates receive the event.Community Additions
