FormView.OnItemDeleted Method
.NET Framework 3.0
Raises the ItemDeleted event.
Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
protected void OnItemDeleted ( FormViewDeletedEventArgs e )
protected function OnItemDeleted ( e : FormViewDeletedEventArgs )
Not applicable.
Parameters
- e
A FormViewDeletedEventArgs that contains the event data.
The OnItemDeleted method is called by the FormView control to raise the ItemDeleted event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the FormView class.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
The OnItemDeleted method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnItemDeleted in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnItemDeleted method so that registered delegates receive the event.Community Additions
