FormView.InitializePager Method

Creates the pager row for the FormView control.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

protected virtual void InitializePager(
	FormViewRow row,
	PagedDataSource pagedDataSource
)

Parameters

row
Type: System.Web.UI.WebControls.FormViewRow

The FormViewRow that contains the pager row.

pagedDataSource
Type: System.Web.UI.WebControls.PagedDataSource

A PagedDataSource that contains the data for the current page.

The InitializePager method is a helper method called by the FormView control to create the pager row. It creates a TableCell object that contains the navigation controls using the properties of the PagedDataSource object contained in the pagedDataSource parameter. The cell is then added to the row specified by the row parameter.
