FormParameter::Evaluate Method

Updates and returns the value of the FormParameter object.

Parameters

context
Type: System.Web::HttpContext

The current HttpContext of the request.

control
Type: System.Web.UI::Control

A Control that is associated with the page where the FormParameter is used.

Return Value

Type: System::Object
An object that represents the updated and current value of the parameter. If the context or the request is null (Nothing in Visual Basic), the Evaluate method returns null.

The FormParameter attempts to bind to the form variable every time the Evaluate method is called.

The context parameter is used by the Evaluate method to retrieve the value of the specified form field from the request. The control parameter is ignored.
