EntityDataSource::EnableDelete Property
Gets or sets a value that indicates whether objects can be deleted through the EntityDataSource control.
Assembly: System.Web.Entity (in System.Web.Entity.dll)
public: virtual property bool EnableDelete { bool get () sealed; void set (bool value) sealed; }
<asp:EntityDataSource EnableDelete="True|False" />
Property Value
Type: System::Booleantrue if automatic delete operations are enabled; otherwise, false. The default value is false.
Implements
IDynamicDataSource::EnableDeleteSelect cannot be set if the EnableDelete property is enabled.
A false value assigned to the EnableDelete property on the EntityDataSource forces the CanDelete property of the related EntityDataSourceView object to return false. When the EnableDelete property is set to false, a NotSupportedException is raised if the data-bound control calls the ExecuteDelete method on the EntityDataSourceView.
If any of the conditions for updatability are not met and the EnableDelete property is set to true, the EntityDataSource raises an exception.
