DetailsViewModeEventArgs::CancelingEdit Property
Gets a value indicating whether the ModeChanging event was raised as a result of the user canceling an edit operation.
Assembly: System.Web (in System.Web.dll)
Property Value
Type: System::Booleantrue to indicate the ModeChanging event was raised as a result of the user canceling an edit operation; otherwise, false.
The ModeChanging event is raised when a DetailsView control attempts to change between edit, insert, and read-only mode, but before the mode actually changes. Use the CancelingEdit property to determine whether the ModeChanging event was raised as a result of the user canceling an edit operation. For example, you might want to reset the DetailsView control whenever the user cancels an edit operation.
