DetailsView.OnItemDeleting Method
.NET Framework 3.0
Raises the ItemDeleting event.
Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
protected void OnItemDeleting ( DetailsViewDeleteEventArgs e )
protected function OnItemDeleting ( e : DetailsViewDeleteEventArgs )
Not applicable.
Parameters
- e
A DetailsViewDeleteEventArgs that contains the event data.
The OnItemDeleting method is called by the DetailsView control to raise the ItemDeleting event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the DetailsView class.
The OnItemDeleting method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnItemDeleting in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnItemDeleting method so that registered delegates receive the event.Community Additions
