DetailsView::OnItemDeleted Method (DetailsViewDeletedEventArgs^)
.NET Framework (current version)
Raises the ItemDeleted event.
Assembly: System.Web (in System.Web.dll)
Parameters
- e
-
Type:
System.Web.UI.WebControls::DetailsViewDeletedEventArgs^
A DetailsViewDeletedEventArgs that contains the event data.
The OnItemDeleted method is called by the DetailsView control to raise the ItemDeleted event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the DetailsView class.
The OnItemDeleted method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors:
When overriding OnItemDeleted in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnItemDeleted method so that registered delegates receive the event.
