DetailsView.OnItemCommand Method
.NET Framework 3.0
Raises the ItemCommand event.
Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
protected void OnItemCommand ( DetailsViewCommandEventArgs e )
protected function OnItemCommand ( e : DetailsViewCommandEventArgs )
Not applicable.
Parameters
- e
A DetailsViewCommandEventArgs that contains the event data.
The OnItemCommand method is called by the DetailsView control to raise the ItemCommand event. It is generally used by control developers when extending the DetailsView class.
The OnItemCommand method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnItemCommand in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnItemCommand method so that registered delegates receive the event.Community Additions
