DetailsView::CreateAutoGeneratedRow Method

Creates an AutoGeneratedField object that represents an automatically generated row field using the specified field properties.

Parameters
- fieldProperties
- Type: System.Web.UI.WebControls::AutoGeneratedFieldProperties
An AutoGeneratedFieldProperties that contains the properties for the AutoGeneratedField.
Return Value
Type: System.Web.UI.WebControls::AutoGeneratedFieldAn AutoGeneratedField that contains the field properties specified by the fieldProperties parameter.
The CreateAutoGeneratedRow method is a helper method called by the DetailsView control to create an automatically generated row field using the specified field properties.
Notes to InheritorsWhen extending the DetailsView class, you can override this method to create your own automatically generated row field.
