DataListItemEventArgs.Item Property
Gets the referenced item in the DataList control when the event is raised.
[Visual Basic] Public ReadOnly Property Item As DataListItem [C#] public DataListItem Item {get;} [C++] public: __property DataListItem* get_Item(); [JScript] public function get Item() : DataListItem;
Property Value
The referenced item in the DataList control when the event is raised.
Remarks
The items in the DataList control are referenced as each item is created or bound to the control. Use this property to programmatically access the referenced item in the DataList control when the ItemCreated or ItemDataBound event is raised.
Example
[Visual Basic, C#] The following example demonstrates how to use the Item property to display the order in which the items are created in the DataList control.
