DataGridCommandEventHandler Delegate

Represents the method that handles the CancelCommand, DeleteCommand, EditCommand, ItemCommand, and UpdateCommand events of a DataGrid control.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

public delegate void DataGridCommandEventHandler(
	Object^ source,
	DataGridCommandEventArgs^ e
)

Parameters

source
Type: System::Object
The source of the event.
e
Type: System.Web.UI.WebControls::DataGridCommandEventArgs
A DataGridCommandEventArgs that contains the event data.

When you create a DataGridCommandEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event handler delegates, see Events and Delegates.

The following code example demonstrates how to specify and code event handlers for the EditCommand, CancelCommand, and UpdateCommand events to edit items in the DataGrid control.
