DataGrid.OnDeleteCommand Method
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
Use the OnDeleteCommand method to provide a custom handler for the DeleteCommand event.
The DeleteCommand event is raised when the Delete button is clicked for an item in the DataGrid control.
A typical handler for the DeleteCommand event removes the selected item from the data source and then rebinds the data to the DataGrid control.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
Notes to Inheritors When overriding OnDeleteCommand in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnDeleteCommand method. For more information about handling events, see Consuming Events.Windows 98, Windows 2000 SP4, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP SP2, Windows XP Starter Edition
