CreateUserWizardStep.AllowReturn Property

Note: This property is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Gets or sets a value indicating whether the user is allowed to return to the current step from a subsequent step in a CreateUserWizard control.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

'Declaration
Public Overrides Property AllowReturn As Boolean
'Usage
Dim instance As CreateUserWizardStep
Dim value As Boolean

value = instance.AllowReturn

instance.AllowReturn = value
/** @property */
public boolean get_AllowReturn ()

/** @property */
public void set_AllowReturn (boolean value)

public override function get AllowReturn () : boolean

public override function set AllowReturn (value : boolean)

Property Value

true if the user is allowed to return to the CreateUserWizardStep step; otherwise, false. The default is false.

By default, the AllowReturn property is set to false to keep users from returning to the CreateUserWizardStep step and accidentally trying to create another user account with the same credentials. If you set the AllowReturn property to true, you must include logic in your application to remove the user account that was originally created before the user returned to this step, or to allow the user to edit information he or she originally entered.
