CreateUserWizard.SkipLinkText Property

Note: This property is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Gets or sets a value that is used to render alternate text that notifies screen readers to skip the sidebar area's content.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

public:
virtual property String^ SkipLinkText {
	String^ get () override;
	void set (String^ value) override;
}
/** @property */
public String get_SkipLinkText ()

/** @property */
public void set_SkipLinkText (String value)

public override function get SkipLinkText () : String

public override function set SkipLinkText (value : String)

Property Value

A string that the CreateUserWizard renders as alternate text with an invisible image, as a hint to screen readers. The default is an empty string ("").

Use the SkipLinkText property to specify the alternate text for a hidden-image read by screen readers that will provide the ability to skip the sidebar area's content. The text that you specify provides assistive technology devices with a description of the hidden image that can be used to make the control more accessible.

NoteNote

If the DisplaySideBar property is set to false (the default), the SkipLinkText property does not create a hidden image with alternate text. The SkipLinkText property works only when the DisplaySideBar property is true.
