CreateUserWizard.OnCreatedUser Method
Raises the CreatedUser event after the membership provider creates the user account.
Assembly: System.Web (in System.Web.dll)
The OnCreatedUser method is called after the Web site user account is created by the membership provider. If the LoginCreatedUser property is true, the user is logged in after the OnCreatedUser method is called.
Use the OnCreatedUser method to set Web site values, such as personalization properties, before the user is logged in for the first time.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
The OnCreatedUser method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to InheritorsWhen overriding OnCreatedUser in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnCreatedUser method so that registered delegates receive the event.
