CheckBoxList.Render Method
.NET Framework 3.0
Displays the CheckBoxList on the client.
Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
protected void Render ( HtmlTextWriter writer )
protected internal override function Render ( writer : HtmlTextWriter )
Not applicable.
Parameters
- writer
A System.Web.UI.HtmlTextWriter that contains the output stream for rendering on the client.
The Render method is used primarily by control developers, when deriving a custom control from the CheckBoxList class.
The Render implementation for a CheckBoxList control initializes a RepeatInfo object for the list, and calls the RenderRepeater method, which in turn uses the RenderItem method to render individual check box list items.
The following code example demonstrates how to override the Render method in a custom server control so that the CheckBoxList always displays an image.
