Gets or sets the membership provider that is used to manage member information.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly:  System.Web (in System.Web.dll)

[ThemeableAttribute(false)]
public virtual string MembershipProvider { get; set; }
<asp:ChangePassword MembershipProvider="String" />

Property Value

Type: System.String
The name of the MembershipProvider for the ChangePassword control. The default is the membership provider for the application.

The MembershipProvider property gets or sets the membership provider that is used to look up member information. For more information about the membership providers available to ASP.NET applications, see Membership Providers.
