The ChangedPassword event is raised after the password is changed by the membership provider specified in the MembershipProvider property. After the ChangedPassword event is raised, the following occurs:
-
If the MailDefinition property is set, the ChangePassword control attempts to send an e-mail message to the user.
-
The user is either redirected to the Web site specified in the SuccessPageUrl property or the control template specified in the SuccessTemplate property is displayed.
The new authorization token for the user is set after the ChangingPassword event but before the ChangedPassword event.
For more information about handling events, see Handling and Raising Events.
