Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

protected public:
virtual void Render (
	HtmlTextWriter^ writer
) override
protected void Render (
	HtmlTextWriter writer
)
protected internal override function Render (
	writer : HtmlTextWriter
)

Parameters

writer

An HtmlTextWriter that represents the output stream to render HTML content on the client.

The Render method is used primarily by control developers.

The Render method writes the rendered content of the BulletedList items to the client using the supplied HtmlTextWriter object. Each BulletedList item is represented by an element in the Items collection.

If the Items property of the BulletedList control is empty, no content is rendered to the HtmlTextWriter. If there is at least one list item in the Items collection, the Render method writes the HTML content for the BulletedList control using the RenderBeginTag, RenderContents, and RenderEndTag methods.
