BaseValidator.OnUnload Method

This method supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Raises the Unload event.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

protected public:
virtual void OnUnload (
	EventArgs^ e
) override
protected void OnUnload (
	EventArgs e
)
protected internal override function OnUnload (
	e : EventArgs
)
Not applicable.

Parameters

e

A System.EventArgs that contains the event data.

This method has been overridden to unregister the validation control on the page.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnUnload method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnUnload in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnUnload method so that registered delegates receive the event.
