Raises the DataBinding
event of a BaseDataList
System.Web (in system.web.dll)
protected override void OnDataBinding (
protected void OnDataBinding (
protected override function OnDataBinding (
e : EventArgs
An EventArgs that contains the event data.
The DataBinding event is raised when data is bound to the BaseDataList control. This method notifies the control to perform any data-binding logic that is associated with it.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
The OnDataBinding method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class. Notes to Inheritors:
When overriding OnDataBinding
in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnDataBinding
method so that registered delegates receive the event.
