AdCreatedEventHandler Delegate
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
/** @delegate */ public delegate void AdCreatedEventHandler ( Object sender, AdCreatedEventArgs e )
JScript supports the use of delegates, but not the declaration of new ones.
Parameters
- sender
The source of the event.
- e
An AdCreatedEventArgs that contains the event data.
The AdCreated event is raised when the AdRotator control displays an advertisement on the page.
When you create an AdCreatedEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event handler delegates, see Events and Delegates.
The following code example demonstrates how to specify and code a handler for the AdCreated event. It gets the URL associated with the advertisement when the AdRotator control gets created and displays it below the control. This example requires the XML file (Ads.xml) listed in the example below.
The following code example demonstrates how to format the XML file that contains the advertisement information. For more information on the XML file, see the AdvertisementFile property of the AdRotator class.
