AccessDataSource.ConnectionString Property
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)
public: virtual property String^ ConnectionString { String^ get () override; void set (String^ value) override; }
/** @property */ public String get_ConnectionString () /** @property */ public void set_ConnectionString (String value)
public override function get ConnectionString () : String public override function set ConnectionString (value : String)
Property Value
The OLE DB connection string that the AccessDataSource control uses to connect to an Access database, through the System.Data.OleDb .NET data provider.The AccessDataSource control can be used only with the System.Data.OleDb .NET data provider, and the connection string that the AccessDataSource uses is specific to this provider. Therefore, the AccessDataSource control exposes connection string settings, such as the DataFile property, as a property and constructs a connection string at run time using the values of the ConnectionString property, if set.
The following code example demonstrates how to display the ConnectionString property of the AccessDataSource control in a Web Forms page.
