RequiredFieldValidator::InitialValue Property
.NET Framework (current version)
Gets or sets the base value for the validator. The default value is null. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see the www.asp.net/mobile Web site.
Assembly: System.Web.Mobile (in System.Web.Mobile.dll)
public: [BindableAttribute(true)] property String^ InitialValue { String^ get(); void set(String^ value); }
During validation, the validator compares a submitted value to the value of the InitialValue property. If the values are the same, the validator assumes that the value for the required field has not been filled in and reports a validation error.
