RangeValidator.Type Property

Gets or sets the data type that specifies how to interpret the values being compared. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see the www.asp.net/mobile Web site.

Property Value

Type: System.Web.UI.WebControls.ValidationDataType
The data type that specifies how to interpret the values being compared.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentException

The specified value is not one of the ValidationDataType values.

The values are implicitly converted to the specified data type before the comparison is made. If the data conversion fails, data validation fails.
