MobilePage::OnViewStateExpire Method
Handles an exception caused by an expired view state on postback. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see the www.asp.net/mobile Web site.
Assembly: System.Web.Mobile (in System.Web.Mobile.dll)
| Exception | Condition |
|---|---|
| Exception | The session state has expired. -or- The session cookie from the client is invalid. -or- The session state history has exceeded its allocated size. |
If you expect to restore a page from a view state, and the page's underlying session has expired, this method's default implementation raises an exception. You can override this method, perform custom handling to restore the page state without relying on view state, and return without calling the base implementation.
