MobilePage.MasterPageFile Property

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Gets or sets the file name of the master page. Master pages are not supported in ASP.NET mobile Web Forms pages. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see the Web site.

Namespace:  System.Web.UI.MobileControls
Assembly:  System.Web.Mobile (in System.Web.Mobile.dll)

public override sealed string MasterPageFile { get; set; }
<asp:MobilePage MasterPageFile="String" />

Property Value

Type: System.String

An attempt was made to set this property. Master pages are not supported on mobile pages.

This member overrides Page.MasterPageFile to prevent master pages from being used. This is because master pages are not supported on ASP.NET mobile Web Forms pages.
