List.DataMember Property

Gets or sets the name of the data member to extract when data binding to a list data source. The default value is an empty string (""). This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see the www.asp.net/mobile Web site.

Property Value

Type: System.String
The name of the data member to extract when data binding to a list data source.

This property is only used if the value of the DataSource property is of type IListSource, rather than of type IEnumerable.
