Calendar::SelectionMode Property

Gets or sets the selection mode of a Calendar object. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see the www.asp.net/mobile Web site.

Property Value

Type: System.Web.UI.WebControls::CalendarSelectionMode
The selection mode of the calendar control. The default is Day.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentException

The specified value is not one of the CalendarSelectionMode values.

The Web Forms CalendarSelectionMode enumeration provides the selections described in the following table.

Value

Description

Day

A single date can be selected on the Calendar control.

DayWeek

A single date or entire week can be selected on the Calendar control.

DayWeekMonth

A single date, week, or entire month can be selected on the Calendar control.

None

No dates can be selected on the Calendar control.

Avoid using this value, because some browsers still allow the user to select a date.
