XhtmlPageAdapter.RenderUrlPostBackEvent Method

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Creates a link on the current page to enable postback on those devices that do not support postback events.

Parameters

writer

An XhtmlMobileTextWriter object that writes the link.

target

The target URL for postback.

argument

The name of the event for which the link is substituting.

Some devices are able to execute a postback event on a link or button only. The RenderUrlPostBackEvent method writes a link with a URL that contains all information that is required to process the form and to update and display the page.
